From standing atop the world at Mount Everest to freefalling over Byron Bay, and jetting off to Rio for a Taylor Swift concert, I've embraced every opportunity to explore. Travelling allows me to embody my most vibrant, friendly, and curious self. Whether navigating bustling cities or remote villages, each destination enriches my understanding of the world. Along the way, I've forged lifelong friendships, dabbled in multiple languages, and discovered my true purpose.

The Kimberley is a remote, rugged but beautiful region in the north of Western Australia where the outback meets the ocean. It consists of ancient steep-sided mountain ranges with sandstone and limestone gorges. It is one of the hottest parts of the country on an Australian vacation in the summer and has a tropical monsoon climate.
The main city is Broome, famous for its pearl industry and for producing one-third of the entire world’s diamonds. Cable Beach here has a reputation as being one of the world’s best with excellent swimming. You can take a camel ride at sunset on the beach or cruise along the coast and view dramatic waterfalls plunging into the sea, ideal additions to your Australia vacation..
For scuba diving enthusiasts, the Rowley Shoals 260 kilometres/155 miles offshore has some of the best diving in the world in splendid gardens of coral.

All of these experiences fueled my passion to travel further, see more, and experience more. I was lucky enough to leave my roots in the U.S to spend an extended period travelling around Europe. I balanced my time between short sightseeing trips as a tourist and long periods working on farms, which gave me a well-rounded understanding of the countries I visited. I love getting the mix of big city and small local perspective in the same places. When I visit a new place, I want to leave with the ability to give people the same recommendations that a local would give. Now I’m eager to continue expanding the list of places I've visited and discovering even more of what the world has to offer. What started as road trips in my late teens has evolved into travelling overseas and exploring new countries, cultures and history. I became an accredited cruise counsellor in 2009 and been fortunate to explore more than 25 countries so far. I have snorkeled with sharks in the South Pacific, hiked through rainforests in Hawaii and have gotten lost while wandering through old cities and churches in Europe. It was during a trip to the South Pacific in 2021 that I decided this was the area of the world that I wanted to focus my career on.
