Top 5 European Combos for Multi-Country Vacations

With a carefully curated itinerary, travelling to multiple countries in Europe is comfortable and enjoyable. Goway's multi-country vacation packages include prime attractions and some unique experiences that allow you a better feel for the destinations you're visiting.

1. London & Paris

The ideal length of stay in both cities is seven days, but each can be savoured in four days flat. London's major tourist sites include the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Kensington Palace, Buckingham Palace, and the Royal Albert Hall. Soak in the beauty of the English countryside with a visit to Warwick Castle, head to Stratford upon Avon, and onwards to Cotswold with its charming villages, tea shops and old inns. Conclude your day in Oxford, and take a fascinating walking tour to see Christchurch College, where many scenes from Harry Potter were filmed. Your Paris stay will inevitably include unmissable delights such as the Eiffel Tower. Palace of Versailles, and a cruise on the River Seine. You'll have one day in each city to explore on your own.

2. Spain & Portugal

You can cover many of the best attractions of Spain and Portugal on a two-week European vacation. Land in Madrid, one of the world's great art, culture, and architecture cities, and visit its medieval, UNESCO-listed cities Avila and Salamanca. Continue your journey to Porto and enjoy a tasting at its famous wine cellars. Turn south towards Portugal's famous university town, Coimbra, and the Catholic pilgrimage site, Fatima. Continue on to the capital city of Lisbon, and cut back across the border to Cordoba in Spain, visiting Mezquita Mosque and the atmospheric Jewish quarter. Next stop is Seville, where you can opt for a Flamenco dance tour, journey on to other places, including Granada, home to the Alhambra palace-fortress, and end your European combo trip in Madrid.

3. Prague, Berlin & Amsterdam

Discover three exciting European cities on a 10-day trip. Your multi-country itinerary will begin in Prague, where you can enjoy a walking tour of the Old Town and Jewish Ghetto, tour the awe-inspiring Prague Castle, walk over the Charles Bridge, and visit the medieval town of Cesky Krumlov with its 300 well-preserved old houses. Head to Berlin by train for a three-night stay, and discover its many delights, including the Reichstag, the newly rebuilt Potsdamer Platz and the flashpoint of the Cold War and Checkpoint Charlie, on a Hop On Hop Off bus tour. From Berlin, take the train to Amsterdam for a further three-night stay, during which you will explore the city on a Hop On Hop Off bus which allows you to stop at and view many of the highlights of central Amsterdam. Also visit the picturesque Dutch countryside and the lively fishing village of Volendam, and then take a boat ride to the island of Marken.

4. Road Trips Through Spain, France & Andorra

In only nine days, you can cover three countries on a road trip. Start in Barcelona, taking in popular sites such as the Sagrada Familia Cathedral and Guell Park. Drive to the medieval cities of Huesca and Jaco, located close to the French border. In Lourdes, visit the Sanctuary, the Cave of Revelations and the Basilica of Immaculate Conception. Head out to Andorra and explore the new and old sections of its capital Andorra La Vella. If you choose a Goway tour, you will have a ticket to the Caldea Thermal Spa Centre, where you can rest and rejuvenate. Drive back to Barcelona, reminiscing along the way.

5. Riga & Tallinn

A Baltic vacation takes you to idyllic beaches, historic cities, and lively campus universities. This short Baltic vacation includes Latvia's capital Riga and Estonia's capital, Tallinn. Your vacation begins in Riga, where you can view the Old Town, home to buildings in diverse styles, Romantic to Gothic to Art Nouveau. Head to Rozena Street, the narrowest street in the country, where you can reach out and touch both sides at once. Embark on a sightseeing tour into Gauja National Park, explore the ruins of an old castle in Sigulda and red sandstone cave of Gutman, and climb to the partially-reconstructed ruins of 13th-century Turaida Castle. Connect to Riga, and indulge in its famous food scene, and explore the Lahemaa National Park and Sagadi Manor.
