Wellness is all the rage these days, and it’s easy to see why. The world is stressful right now and health challenges seem all-pervasive. Wellness travel is a way to unwind, refresh, and refocus on one’s own wellbeing while also enjoying some of the world’s most unique destinations. Of course, most people’s definition of wellness is the spa, but we don’t think wellness should end with a sauna and a massage. This is why Goway has launched our new Ultimate Wellness line, which will help you recharge, refresh, and renew with a series of innovative and in-depth wellness travel packages to destinations around the world.

Each year, more travellers are going on vacation in search of wellness experiences. It’s hard to say whether wellness is a trend or simply the new way of travelling. We wanted to tap into wellness, but didn’t want to rush things. Rather, we went out into the world to research wellness and experience all the diverse ways that people can recharge while on vacation. What we came up with is Ultimate Wellness, eight new wellness packages that take travellers to eight countries on five continents. Each Ultimate Wellness trip takes you to several locations through a given destination, so that you enjoy a deeper experience that captures a holistic expression of a country. Ultimate Wellness trips also seek to provide travel experiences that are as diverse as our travellers.

Ultimate Wellness to relax your body.

The classic spa experience remains the most popular way to enjoy wellness while travelling.

The classic image of wellness travel is a day at the spa. We love the spa, which is why we ensure that this sort of classic wellness experience is present in all our products moving forward. However, not just any spa will do. With Ultimate Wellness, you get access to top-of-the-line spas in some of the world’s best wellness hotels and resorts. Furthermore, it’s not enough to simply enjoy massages and facial scrubs. Our trips also include physical activities that help renew your body and set you up for long-term wellbeing, including, but not limited to, yoga. Our packages also feature cooking classes that connect you to local cuisines and equip you with some healthy eating habits you can take back home with you.

Ultimate Wellness to reinvigorate your mind.

Yoga remains a excellent way to practice mindfulness and improve physical health.

Of course, wellness is not just about relaxing, getting limber, or losing weight. It’s also about resetting mentally and feeling refreshed and reinvigorated. To that end, Ultimate Wellness helps people adopt healthier mental states with mindfulness lessons and meditation. Furthermore, there’s no better way to cultivate a healthier mindset and leave distractions behind than by getting into nature. Thus, our packages incorporate natural immersion that helps you slow down the pace and reframe your perspective of the world and your place within it.

Ultimate Wellness to renew your spirit.

Japan is an ideal place to connect with ancient spiritual traditions.

Mindfulness and meditation have obvious benefits for your mental health, but they also come from ancient spiritual disciplines that help people experience a more holistic sense of reality. With Ultimate Wellness, travellers can engage with these ancient traditions to learn more about the origins of mindfulness and meditation. They’ll also broaden their understanding of the world and engage with spiritual practices that have guided people’s wellbeing for centuries. Travellers also engage with locals on a deep, personal level, learning more about the places they visit, the practices of the people who live there, and their unique ways of understanding the world. In the end, travellers will discover a more peaceful way of engaging with the world around them.

You might say that Aren was destined to become a globetrotter after his family took him to Germany two times before he was four. If that wasn’t enough, a term spent in Sweden as a young teenager and a trek across Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand confirmed that destiny. An independent writer, director, and film critic, Aren has travelled across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and South America. His favourite travel experience was visiting the major cities of Japan’s largest island, Honshu, but his love for food, drink, and film will take him anywhere that boasts great art and culture.
