The Lake Erie Coastal Ohio Trail is an American scenic byway that weaves along the southern shore of Lake Erie for 293 miles. Other Ohio tourist must-do’s include Cedar Park – voted “Best Amusement Park in America” – Kings Island roller coaster, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Amish Country, the National Veterans Memorial and Museum, the National Aviation Heritage Area, the Butler Institute of American Art, and SunWatch Indian Village/Archaeological Park.
Outdoors enthusiasts come for the state’s 75 state parks and Ohio’s only national park, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, offering a scenic railroad ride, hiking and biking trails, watersports, and historic Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trial. Others come to fish for walleye and pike in one of the state’s 110 natural large lakes.
