Overview
Take a trip to Mont-Tremblant on your Canada vacation.
Nestled into the Laurentian Mountains is the welcoming town of Mont-Tremblant, a year-round hotspot for outdoors enthusiasts. Brightly coloured buildings set in warm tones of orange and red against a contrasting turquoise dot the downtown core, resembling a postcard scene from a Swiss village as snow falls gently on the rooftops in winter. The Tremblant Pedestrian Village is your go-to for eats, culture, and shopping, where you can wander from one local boutique to another while enjoying the communal spirit.
Tremblant is known as one of the largest ski resorts in Eastern Canada, where skiers and snowboards flock from November to April in search of their adrenaline rush. Afterwards, a number of cozy restaurants and pubs await in Tremblant village, serving up après-ski fare in addition to fine dining and hearty French-Canadian eats. For non-skiers, take an outing to a traditional sugar shack deep in the woods where you can see how maple syrup is harvested, or try your hand at ice-fishing.
In the summer, Tremblant keeps its outdoor spirits alive and well with a number of hiking and biking trails that run deep into the Laurentian Mountains. Mont-Tremblant National Park is dotted with plenty of rivers and lakes that allow for gentle paddling or splashing under the summer sun. From town, take the gondola straight to the top of the mountain for a leafy aerial view over town as you head towards the hills.
