Tim Martin

I grew up in an airline family, so travel has always been an integral part of my life. My passion to explore new places and experience new things has led me to more than 100 countries so far, and I always have an eye out for the next one. I was lucky enough to live in Asia for 10 years, with most of it in Hong Kong and Thailand, and have traveled extensively in the region. I love sharing my travel experiences and helping other people make their dream trip to Asia a reality, so they can experience something truly special that will stay with them for a lifetime.

Favourite Travel Memory

I took a container ship from Athens to Singapore over the course of three weeks. Somewhere in the Gulf of Aden the water was as still as glass, reflecting a mirror image of the clouds in the sky. There were wild dolphins playing in the vessel's wake and I could see flying fish skimming the surface for hundreds of meters at a time. No internet, no phones, no modern distractions. It was one of the most peaceful moments of my life, and showed me just how beautiful the world can be.
