Croatia Weather
As a result of its geographical position, Croatia has two main climate regions: continental and Mediterranean. The Croatian interior is separated from the coast by the Dinaric Mountains and therefore experiences slightly cooler temperatures.
Croatia’s coast and islands experience a Mediterranean climate that is warmer than the interior. Summer is the dry season for the coast, with winter being the rainy season. The coastal climate is very much affected by wind.
