Sydney: Opera House Backstage Tour
- Duration
- 2.5 Hours
- Prices:
- On request
This intimate 2-hour tour grants exclusive access to areas normally reserved for the stars and their crew. You can stand on the Concert Hall stage, where some of the world's performing legends, such as Dame Joan Sutherland, Blondie, Pavarotti, and John Farnham have stood. You'll have the opportunity to take up the conductor's baton in the Opera Theatre orchestra pit.
You'll peek inside the stars' dressing rooms, explore the scenery dock and fly towers, and, naturally, you'll get to hear all the secrets and real-life dramas that go on behind the curtain.
This Tour starts early to ensure best access, before the working day starts for technical crews bumping in. You will enjoy a full breakfast in the Green Room, the private domain to performers and staff, where you can reflect, take in the atmosphere, and ask the guide any further questions.
