Goway’s AFRICAExperts is pleased to announce the appointment of Yael Marom to the reservations department. “Yael brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the department,” commented Moira Smith, AFRICAExperts General Manager. “Having lived in the Middle East and travelled to our key destinations, she complements our current team of experts.”

Yael was born in Israel, raised in Canada but moved back in early adulthood for a few years to reacquaint herself with her roots. The travel bug bit several years ago and she found herself traipsing around the world as often as possible. 2009 was spent mainly in Africa, the continent that stole her heart with its magnificent beauty, powerful energy and friendly people. Her fondest memories are of climbing and quad biking the sand dunes in Namibia, feeling the breezes of both the Indian and Atlantic oceans simultaneously in Cape Point, spotting the “Big Five” in Kruger, abseiling down Table Mountain, stepping inside the Great Pyramid of Giza, playing backgammon with the locals in Cairo, viewing the magnificent Baha’i Gardens in Haifa and swimming in all 4 seas of Israel; the Red, the Med, the Dead and the Sea of Galilee

Goway Appoints Dale Scott to Business Development Manager

Goway’s AFRICAExperts is pleased to announce the appointment of Jervin Randria to the reservations department.  “Jervin brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the department,” commented Moira Smith, AFRICAExperts General Manager.  “Having lived in East Africa and travelled to our key destinations, she complements our current team of experts.”

Jervin was born in Tanzania to a family that was actively involved in tourism. In her youth she spent her holidays on safari in parks including the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire.  Jervin has been in the travel industry for 20 years with her most recent position being General Manager for Wildersun Safaris. Jervin loves travelling but her real passion is for travel in Africa; some of her fondest experiences include climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Ballooning over the Serengeti, snorkelling in the Red Sea, getting up close and personal with lemurs in Madagascar, entering a pyramid in Egypt, cruising the Nile and standing at the tip of Africa at Cape Point.

David is originally from Australia and is well respected in the tourism industry, having most recently held a senior Product Management position with a major Canadian wholesaler. AFRICAExperts by Goway has announced the appointment of Moira Smith to the role of General Manager. Born and raised in South Africa, Moira has worked in the Travel Industry for 25 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in tour operations, sales and marketing, and destination product knowledge.

“Being South African and having travelled extensively throughout the continent, Moira has first-hand knowledge of the intricacies of this vast, sometimes complicated and exciting destination, which is imperative for this position” commented Founder and President, Bruce Hodge. “Moira also brings a well-rounded knowledge of the travel industry and has the skills to expand and improve Goway’s Africa product offerings”.

Jasvinder Binning joins the Goway Team


Goway today announced the appointment of Jasvinder S. Binning to the position of Webfares Development Manager. With over 10 years in the travel industry, Jasvinder brings a wealth of experience to the position.

“Jasvinder has extensive knowledge of the wholesale and air consolidator industry, which is imperative in this position.” Commented VP Air, Jim Morrison. “He also brings a well-rounded knowledge of the industry and has the skills to expand and improve Goway’s consolidation business.

Jasvinder has held management positions with the British Airport Authority and American Express Travel Service Network prior to joining Goway. During his years in the industry, Jasvinder has also held positions as Secretary to the Heathrow Co-ordination and Slot Performance Committee, Communications Executive at Cheville Clothing Ltd, and is a permanent member of the Institute of Logistic Transport.

In the role of Webfares Development Manager, Jasvinder is responsible for all on-line web sales, pricing, contract management and marketing of Goway Agent web site. Goway’s online booking engine is only accessible to travel agents.

Doug Vogl joins Goway


Goway Travel today announced the appointment of Doug Vogl to the position of Product and Marketing Manager, Asia. With over 25 years experience in the travel industry, Doug brings a wealth of experience to the position.

“Doug has first-hand knowledge of Asia, which is imperative in this position” commented VP Product and Marketing, Scott Duncan, “Doug also brings a well-rounded knowledge of the industry and has the skills to expand and improve Goway’s Asia vacations”.

Commencing his career in retail sales, Doug has also held senior management positions with Canadian Airlines and Cathay Pacific. His experience also extends to Business Development with two wholesale companies, with a focus on Asia as a destination.

During his years in the industry, Doug has been on the board of several industry associations including The Toronto-Chinese Golf Association, The Canada-Chinese Business Association and most recently on the ADS (Approved Destination Status) committee for Canada and China and ACTA.

As Product & Marketing Manager, Asia, Doug is responsible for the quality and pricing of the entire Goway Asia product range, training and development of Goway reservations staff, and destination education training.

Don Forster Goway Travel is pleased to announce the appointment of Don Forster as the Product Manager for their newly established adventure division – ADVENTURESIncorporated. Don has over 20 years of experience in the adventure world having worked for some of the industry’s largest and most respected adventure travel companies here in North America and the UK as well as running his own successful adventure travel company.

Hailing from Australia, Don like many Australians, spent years travelling in Asia and Africa before working as an overland driver for 5 years in Latin America and across the Middle East and Asia.

Don’s role at Goway is the establishment and development of the new adventure division as well as the development of the region of Latin America. His infectious passion for adventure travel will ensure ADVENTURESIncorporated’s future success.

Senior Airline Industry Veteran Joins Goway

In the role of Vice-President Air, Jim is responsible for the overall contracting and negotiations for Goway’s worldwide air product, aviation industry liaison and product development.
