Goway Offers Agents the Opportunity to Make Extra Commission

There is no question that the cruise industry is massive, and it continues to grow as cruise lines have become committed to international expansion and the cruise client begins to look for new exotic destinations. Asia is poised and ready to welcome North American cruise clients to her ports of call.

Asia by Goway has long since been the expert at offering private, customized shore excursions in Asia at a fraction of the price a client would expect to pay on board these ocean liners. And all of their travel ideas are commissionable, allowing travel agents to up-sell and boost their overall earnings.

Booking shore excursions in advance for clients not only gives the client piece of mind prior to departure but offers agents an excellent way to increase their bottom line. “As the travel industry evolves, travel agents need to continually get creative in finding ways to increase their commissions and Goway offers an excellent opportunity for them to do just that,” says Goway’s General Manager for Asia, Diane Molzan.

Goway’s Asia experts can offer suggestions of the best shore excursions to take. With cruising, often the time spent on shore is minimal, so clients are looking for the best value for their money. Goway has literally hundreds of travel ideas at every port of call, from museum hopping, to city sightseeing, to shopping, to something maybe slightly more adventurous like a side trip to hike the Great Wall of China. Whatever clients are after, Goway can arrange it for them.

Goway will welcome them as they disembark the ship so they’ll already feel like they’ve met a friend from home as opposed to being just one amongst a thousand shuttled from site to site on over-packed coaches.

The Naadam Festival of the Mongols originates from Hun era (209BC) and has come to our time through centuries. It consists of the 3 Games of Men, namely, archery, wrestling and horse racing. The Naadam was a competition among the nomadic Mongol tribes to test whose horses were the best, who had the strongest men and whose soldiers were the most outstanding archers. The Mongols started celebrating Naadam Festival nationwide on 11-12 July each year since 1921 to celebrate their independence from China. The Opening Ceremony is the most impressive part of this glorious festival as various rituals, traditional music and dance take place in the Central Stadium. The ritual of Genghis Khan’s 9 white flags carried into the stadium by soldiers in the military uniform of Genghis Khan. Hundreds of artists in traditional Mongolian costumes of different eras perform dances and songs for the Opening Ceremony while are parading with hundreds of musicians and Tsam masked dancers.
