Goway Announces Special New Zealand Evening

Come meet Goway at their special New Zealand travel presentation evening to be held on Thursday 3 May from 6-9pm at the InterContinental Toronto Centre at 225 Front Street. Agents are invited to come to the event, meet and mingle with 20 visiting New Zealand Travel Representatives, and listen to Goway’s presentation on New Zealand. Agents may also network with Goway destination experts and meet with potential clients.

Agents who have clients interested in travelling to New Zealand are invited to bring them along to the special evening. There will be show specials as well as an opportunity to win a trip for 2 to New Zealand.

In recognition of the support of thousands of North American Agents, Goway is giving away tickets to Australia and New Zealand through to January 15, 2007.

Goway has been recognized as “Best Wholesale Partner” by over 4500 North American Aussie Specialists and in the USA’s 2005 Travel Weekly survey of travel agent subscribers, Goway scooped the awards in 4 out of 6 categories for the “tour operator they used most for the South Pacific”.

From October 30 to January 15, 2007, agents across North America can visit www.gowayagent.com and complete the online quiz (all answers are found on www.goway.com) for a chance to win a pair of round-trip tickets with Air New Zealand to Australia or New Zealand. For each booking made with Goway, agents receive an additional entry into the draw.

GOWAYAIR GOES ONLINE WITH INCENTIVES

After many months of testing, www.gowayAIR.com, which is exclusive to agents, is now “officially” online with over half a million fares loaded into its database. Agents can book over 30 different airlines flying to Europe, Africa, Downunder, Asia and the Middle East.

www.gowayAIR.com fares include point to point sale fares and Business/First Class fares priced well below published rates. The site is very user friendly and can be accessed 24/7.

As an incentive for agents to book and pay online, GowayAIR will pay $10 for each Economy passenger and $30 for each Business or First Class passenger. As well, all tickets issued that include Sydney in the itinerary are accompanied by a booklet containing useful information and discount vouchers (restaurants, shops, attractions) plus a full colour souvenir map of Australia and maps of the main cities Downunder.

To gain access to the special online fares agents need to register at www.gowayAIR.com. The company’s Help Desk can be called at 1-866-515-2874 pressing “0″ and asking for the “Online Booking Help Desk”, for assistance with bookings and also for training. GowayAIR.com’s cash incentive offer only applies to tickets issued before June 30th, 2005 and is not applicable for infant tickets.

In July, Agents will be able to access all GowayAir’s net fares directly through the Internet and will be able to book flights through their new WEBFARES programme offering the full range of Goway’s consolidated product line. This programme is currently being fine-tuned and will be available for release to travel agents very soon.

In order to provide the best possible service and expertise, GowayAir trains all reservation staff in depth and has initiated a training programme which, when completed successfully, allows staff to assume the designation “Wizard” denoting that they are not only extremely knowledgeable about airfares etc., but can come up with the very best and most suitable combinations of fares and routings.
