Goway Cooks for China

The Staff at Goway Travel, a leading North American long-haul wholesaler to Asia, Africa and the South Pacific are continuing their pledge to aid the victim of the China earthquake that devastated the lives and villages of many of the country’s residents.

On Monday 2 June, over one lunch hour, a “bake sale” was held at the Toronto Headquarters of Goway Travel, raising almost $1,100 and bringing the staff contributions to the appeal to almost $3,000.

The staff cooked up a smorgasboard of offerings for their colleagues, which included fried dumplings, Home-made spaghetti with Chinese seasonings, spring rolls, Won Ton Soup, Mango Salad, Chinese Pie, Curried Meatballs, Eggplant Curry, Pad Thai and much more! All staff were encouraged to enjoy their colleagues culinary efforts, resulting in an additional $1,100 being collected for the cause. <

The management at Goway would like to acknowledge all of the staff for contributing to the success of the event, and especially to the staff that “Cooked for China”.

Goway Appoints General Manager, AFRICAExperts

Born and raised in South Africa, Moira has worked in the Travel Industry for 25 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in tour operations, sales and marketing, and destination product knowledge.
