At the recent Oztalk Event held in Palm Springs, California, Goway was honoured with an “Ozzie”; the award for “Best Wholesaler” which was voted on by attending Australian hoteliers, tour operators and state tourism organizations.
The award was presented to Goway at the gala dinner at the end of the weekend training event. Companies eligible for the award included all of the major wholesale companies (sending more than 1500 passengers annually to Australia) in the USA and Canada. “We are delighted by the recognition from our trade partners,” commented Emma Cottis, Product and Marketing Manager for Goway, “this is our first Ozzie award and is a result of the knowledge and expertise of our reservations team, and follows our win for ‘Best Wholesaler’ as voted by over 4,000 Aussie Specialists”.
Oztalk is an annual training event that consists of an in-depth weekend of Australian product training presentations, and was held August 24-26.
