Day 1. Arrive Auckland. Haere mai - Welcome to New Zealand. You will be met and transferred to your hotel in the heart of the city. Crowne Plaza (2 nights)

Day 2. Auckland. Exclusive Experience (included). This afternoon you choose the activity and we will include it! Choose from an Auckland City highlights tour, a trip up to the top of Auckland's Sky Tower, a visit to Auckland's Maritime Museum or perhaps Auckland Museum.

Day 3. Auckland to Rotorua. We travel south to Waitomo Limestone Caves to enjoy a tour of the incredible glow-worm grotto, before continuing to the geothermal city of Rotorua. Tonight is a unique experience as we enjoy a Maori Hangi (feast) and cultural performance. Millennium Rotorua (2 nights) D

Day 4. Rotorua. Exclusive Experience (included). Choose from a thermal reserve tour, Te Puia, the Agrodome Sheep Show and Rainbow Springs Nature Park. Enjoy a guided forest walk, a lunch cruise on the Lakeland Queen or visit Rotorua's Museum before soaking in thermal springs. Millennium Rotorua or Country Homestay option

Day 5. Rotorua to Wellington. Today we journey south and view Wairakei Steam Valley, a unique and fascinating geothermal power project. View Lake Taupo, New Zealand's largest lake. Cross the vast volcanic plateau of Tongariro National Park to the nation's capital, Wellington. Hotel Inter-Continental

Day 6. Wellington to Nelson. Our Interislander cruise takes us across Cook Strait to the South Island. In Picton we rejoin our coach and travel through the pretty orchard region of Marlborough to Nelson. Upon arrival we visit the World of Wearable Arts Museum. Rutherford Hotel D

Day 7. Nelson to Franz Josef. Follow the Heritage Highway to the rugged West Coast and view the fascinating 'Pancake' rock formations and blowholes at Punakaiki. Continue into Westland National Park and see the magnificent glaciers. There may be an opportunity to enjoy a scenic flight over this breathtaking region (own expense, weather permitting). Day 8. Franz Josef to Wanaka. View incredible scenery today as we leave this World Heritage-listed area traveling through Haast Pass and over the incredible Southern Alps. Continue to Wanaka, originally settled in the gold-rush era and surrounded by Mt Aspiring National Park. Edgewater Resort

Day 9. Wanaka to Queenstown. Depart Wanaka this morning and journey to the delightful village of Arrowtown, an old gold rush settlement. Continue to the alpine resort of Queenstown, situated on the banks of lake Wakatipu. Sofitel Hotel (2 nights) D

Day 10. Queenstown. Choose your Exclusive Experience (included). Perhaps a Queenstown Double Decker bus tour, a guided tour of some of the local and distinct wineries, an exhilarating jetboat ride or a relaxing garden tour.

Day 11. Milford Sound to Te Anau. Travel to Milford Sound and board the Milford Mariner (weather permitting). Journey the length of this ancient fiord, sailing below mile-high Mitre Peak. This afternoon we take a relaxing journey to Te Anau. Te Anau Hotel & Villas

Day 12. Dunedin. Today we journey to the southern-most coast and view Paua shell being created into jewelry. Continue to Dunedin, the 'Edinburgh of the South'. On arrival choose your Exclusive Experience (included). Perhaps visit beautiful and historical Olveston House, Speights Brewery or Cadbury Chocolate World. Alternatively, you may choose to visit the Yellow-eyed Penguin or the Royal Albatross on the Otago Peninsula. Southern Cross Hotel

Day 13. Dunedin to Mount Cook. Travel north along the coast to view the unique and fascinating Moeraki Beach boulders. Continue to Mount Cook National Park, a World Heritage-listed area and home to Australasia's highest mountain, Mount Cook. Day 14. Mount Cook to Christchurch. This morning we visit the beautiful glacier-fed lake of Tekapo and view the tiny Church of the Good Shepherd. Travel through Burkes Pass to the vast patchwork plains of Canterbury then continue to the charming "Garden City" of Christchurch. Crowne Plaza Christchurch. D

Day 15. Depart Christchurch. Your tour concludes after breakfast this morning but do take the time to explore, the 'Garden City' before it is time for your included departure transfer to the airport.
