PRICE INCLUDES:
Airport concession fee recovery, vehicle registration recovery, unlimited km, government stamp duty, collision damage waiver (subject to excess), third party property cover (subject to excess), third party injury liability.
NOT INCLUDED:
Fuel, accident damage excess, single vehicle accident excess, insurance options and one way rental fees.
CONDITIONS:
Drivers Licence: Valid foreign driver's license (in English) or International driver's permit are acceptable. Minimum age is 21 years. (Max. 80) Some restrictions ages 21-24.
Insurance: For your protection all vehicles are insured for damage to the vehicle or to the property of a third party, subject to damage excess. The hirer will be responsible for the following damage excess should your vehicle be involved in an accident.
Cars: AUD$2750 for accident damage excess. An additional AUD$2200 for single vehicle accident damage excess if you rent in Northern Territory or Western Australia.
Four-Wheel Drives: AUD$4400 for accident damage excess plus AUD$4400 for single vehicle accident damage excess.
INSURANCE OPTIONS:
Cars: Purchase Accident Excess Reduction at AUD$21 per day (AUD$26 per day for Northern Territory and Western Australia rentals) and this will reduce the accident damage excess to AUD$385.
Four-Wheel Drives: (A) Purchase Standard Accident Excess Reduction at AUD$25 per day and this will reduce the accident damage excess to AUD$1100. The single vehicle excess of AUD$4400 is not reduced.
(B) Purchase Premium Accident Excess Reduction at AUD$45 per day and this will reduce the accident damage excess including single vehicle accident damages excess to AUD$440 in total.
ONE WAY RENTALS:
For an additional fee you may book a one way rental as Hertz has depots throughout Australia. However, one-way rentals are subject to standard one-way rental conditions applicable at time of rental. One-way rentals are permitted for car groups B, C, D, E & R. One-way rentals into or out of Tasmania are not permissible. The minimum one-way rental period is three days within a region and seven days for rentals across regions.
