Day 1. Sydney to Hay. Depart Sydney and travel along the Hume Highway via Goulburn and the Riverina to Hay. Enjoy a welcome drink this evening. Comfort Inn D

Day 2. Hay to Adelaide. Today, travel via vast Hay Plains and Mildura, located ion the mighty Murray River. Cross the South Australian border and travel through the vineyards to Adelaide. Stamford Plaza BD

Day 3. Adelaide to Flinders Ranges. See the sights of Adelaide on an orientation tour, then sample wines at Sevenhill cellars. Later, travel through the Flinders Ranges into Wilpena Pound. Wilpena Pound Resort BD

Day 4. Port Augusta. Time to explore Wilpena Pound. This afternoon, travel through Pitchi Richi Pass to Port Augusta and visit the Wadlata Outback Centre. Majestic Oasis Apartments BD

Day 5. Coober Pedy. Visit Woomera, before travelling to isolated Coober Pedy, the opal capital, visit an underground church and home. Desert Cave Hotel BD

The OlgasDay 7. Ayers Rock to the Olgas. This morning, you may wish to join an early tour to view the sunrise over Uluru. Enjoy a guided walk into Mutitjulu Waterhole and stop at the informative Cultural Centre. This afternoon, visit Kata-Tjuta and walk into Walpa Gorge. Enjoy a sunset with a glass of sparkling wine, followed by a delicious barbecue dinner under the stars. BD

Day 8. Kings Canyon. Travel to Kings Canyon today. For the energetic, a guided climb to the Canyon rim will be rewarded with magnificent views of Watarrka National Park. Kings Canyon Resort BD

Day 9. Alice Springs. Leaving Watarrka National Park, travel to Alice Springs. See the Royal Flying Doctor Service, School of the Air and the Telegraph Station. Stop for panoramic views of Alice Springs from Anzac Hill. Alice Springs Resort (2 nights) BD

Day 10. Exploring Alice Springs. This morning, spend time with a local Aboriginal guide on a Desert Discovery Tour. In the afternoon, travel to Standley Chasm, Simpsons Cup, and visit the Alice Springs Desert Park to see unique Australian animals. B

Day 11. Alice Springs to Tennant Creek. (11 Day Sydney to Alice Springs passengers depart Alice Springs after breakfast - transfer included). Travelling north, arrive at the Devils Marbles with time to walk around these precariously balanced boulders. Day 15. Litchfield National Park. Today, we travel to Litchfield National Park to see beautiful Florence Falls and the mysterious Magnetic Termite Mounds. Dine out this evening at Darwin's newest attraction, Crocosaurus Cove. Get up close and personal with a 'swim with the crocs' and watch the jumping croc display. BD

Day 16. Depart Darwin. Your tour concludes this morning after breakfast. You will be transferred to Darwin Airport to connect with your onward flight. B
